Pumpkin Almond Butter

Did you know that the ingredients of pumpkin spice offer a myriad of health benefits? It's crazy to think you could improve your immune function BY indulging in some yummy treats. An easy way to pumpkin spice-up your meals is with this delicious recipe for pumpkin almond butter. Enjoy it on just about anything!


1 cup almond butter

1-3 tablespoons pure maple syrup 

2 tablespoons roasted pumpkin (or canned pumpkin if you want a creamier consistency)

1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

sea salt (to taste)


Add ingredients to a food processor and process until desired consistency is reached. You can also stir by hand. If you choose to stir by hand, I recommend using the canned pumpkin and potentially adding extra teaspoons until desired consistency is achieved. 

This spread tastes ah-mazing on paleo cinnamon muffins or even on top of sweet potato toast!
