Carly's Southwest Salmon Patties (Whole30 Approved) – Clean Coach Carly

Carly's Southwest Salmon Patties (Whole30 Approved)

How's your Whole30 going? Feel like you want to punch through a wall from the cravings yet? Don't worry, they'll get better...eventually (we hope). I've got a recipe for you this week that's sure to keep you satisfied and hopefully stave off those cravings for longer.

Now, in my normal life, I love making the Paleo version of this recipe, which calls for plantain chips as an afterthought on top of these patties, and that's part of what gives them that "southwestern" appeal. I would like to reiterate what you may have already heard from those that created the Whole30, but store-bought chips of any kind are not allowed on the Whole30 diet. Whole30 isn't just about restricting foods, it's about breaking habits.

Sometimes, when we're snacking on chips, we go full out, no brakes and either overeat or eat a lot more than we were planning. This is a habit-forming occurrence, and it doesn't build a healthy relationship with food. Whole30 works to break those habits and repair our relationship with food, so just watch out for that, okay? If something exists as a way to get around the Whole30 rules, it probably is against those rules. If you're ever unsure, check out THIS LINK. Now, let's get cookin'!
